You will need an iLok account to use MediaSeal.  Please visit www.ilok.com for further information and to set up your account.


Procedure


Installation of MediaSeal Encryptor Software - Windows


To install the MediaSeal Encryptor software, simply click setup in the MediaSeal folder that you would’ve received directly from Fortium. The wizard will then walk you through installation. When complete, the Encryptor will be placed in your Program Files folder and place a shortcut in the Start menu on Windows. You will need to restart your computer.


Installation of MediaSeal Encryptor Software – Mac


To install the MediaSeal Encryptor on your OS X computer, open the "EvsEncryptor.dmg" disk image file. Drag the Encryptor application to the "Applications" folder on your computer. You do not need to restart your computer.

Technical Support


From 01/05/2022 technical support will only be provided to Operating Systems which are currently supported by Apple and Microsoft, or have been unsupported by Apple and Microsoft for less than 3 years. As of May 2022, this means technical support will be provided for Operating Systems newer than macOS 10.12 and Windows 7 SP1. MediaSeal will remain compatible with all existing Operating Systems, and our technical support team will endeavour to assist on all issues. However, long term support will not continue with issues on older Operating Systems should they not be resolved within a reasonable time.
