Issue

Forgotten machine password or need to reset the MediaSeal "Machine License" password on Windows

Solution

1.      Close Decryptor Tray

2.      Open registry editor (regedit.exe) 

3.      Navigate to HKEY_USERS and click on HKEY_USERS

4.      Click Edit on the Menu and then Click Find

5.      Enter machinelicensepassword then click Find Next

6.      Right click the selected Key and click delete

7.      Close Registry Editor and restart Decryptor Tray

8.      Click Login MachineLicense should prompt to set a new password
