How to enable MediaSeal Secure Player diagnostic logging on Windows

By default, logging is not enabled for MediaSeal Secure Player.  However, this can be enabled to assist in diagnosing any issues.

To enable logging:

  • Open a command prompt  (type cmd in the search and press Enter)


  • Type "c:\Program Files (x86)\MediaSeal\Secure Player\MSSecurePlayer.exe" --log-file %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\SecurePlayer.log --msg-level=all=trace

  • Press Enter


The log file should be output to your desktop.

This file can be sent to the MediaSeal team for analysis.
