How do I encrypt files?

Answer:

To encrypt your files, please ensure that you have downloaded the MediaSeal App and logged into your server.  You cannot encrypt files using the web browser version.

You can download the MediaSeal App by selecting the "DOWNLOAD APP" option located in the bottom left corner of your web browser, just above the Logout button.

To encrypt files, follow these steps:

1. Open the MediaSeal app.

2. Log in to your server.

3. Navigate to the job where you want to encrypt files.

4. You can either drag and drop your files into the job window or click the "Add Files" button to select files from your local system.

5.  Once you have selected your files, you will be prompted to select a destination location, this is where your files will be encrypted to

The encryption process should start immediately after this and files should be encrypted.
