Question:
How do I verify my files?
Answer:
If a file is inaccessible, without an obvious cause, meaning it doesn’t prompt for a password or show a MediaSeal balloon popup, it may be corrupted. To verify the file, click the MediaSeal icon in your taskbar by the system clock and choose the verification tab from the menu.
This opens the encrypted files verification window. Select 'Browse File' to find the file in question, then click the 'Verify' button at the bottom.
Verification Results:
- File Status: OK - Verification successful; the integrity of the encryption wrapper is intact.
- File Status: NOT OK - The file may be corrupted, possibly during transfer or download. Please re-download the file and try again.
